Rakethru was created out of the student experience. It was born from the experience of our founder who nearly dropped to his knees in shock the first time he saw the cost of "used" books in his campus bookstore. It was born out of the experience of our friends - some who didn't know about the great online alteratives to the on-campus fleecing, and others who would open 6 browser windows to comparison-shop across sites for hours. It was born from the knowledge that in any economy - be it a down one or a great one - there is NO REASON to pay top dollar for the materials we all need when real options are out there. In short, rakethru is a service that will help us all save time, save money, and have simpler lives.

What is rakethru’s mission?

Our initial goal is to help students, professors, booksclubs, and everyone else save $10 million dollars over the next two years. We also strive to provide relevant information and insight to help students maximize their time studying.

How do you help me save?
